Product Overview

Tdtomato mRNA is a red fluorescent protein encoded mRNA sequence derived from the Discosomacoral, engineered to express the tdTomato protein in cells after transfection. Originally isolated from the red fluorescent protein DsRed, tdTomato forms a stable intramolecular dimer through two tandem copies of the fluorescent moiety, exhibiting enhanced brightness and photostability compared to single-chain variants. It emits intense red fluorescence with excitation and emission maxima at 554 nm and 581 nm, respectively, enabling high-contrast imaging in live cells and tissues with minimal autofluorescence interference.

Applications

• Positive Control for mRNA Transfection: Validating transfection efficiency and system performance.

• Delivery System Screening: Assessing nanoparticle/mRNA formulation efficacy in delivery applications.

CATUG® CatPure™ tdTomato mRNA
